Rocca D’Elmici
The Rocca d'Elmici is located on the left bank of the Rabbi river, facing Rocca delle Caminate. The ruins of the ramparts of the ancient fortress and the traces of what was once a disputed and repeatedly destroyed fortification are the only testimonies of the old castrum. The Rocca has fallen victim to the forces of nature and now the glorious fortress is overcome by greenery, which scales the stone walls and forces its way through the remaining haunting structure.
