Santa Maria Church
The Church of Santa Maria was constructed after WW2 bombing on the left side of Senio River, where Alfonsine has been rebuilt. The historic church of Alfonsine, on the right side of the river Seno, was destroyed by 30 bombs of half a quintal each, posted along the nave and columns by residents of Alfonsine forced by the Germans. It a modern church of no particular architectural interest, but it hosts a painting – The Baptism of Cristo-Baracca - and a ceramic of Holy Mary of the XVII century.
