Grandmother in Stone

The grandmother carved in stone is a symbol of the people who lived here before the Romans, Liburnia. In the Municipality of Čavle there is a carved grandmother in stone, presumably from the Middle Ages. It is also known that every town, place or village at the entrance had a grandmother in some form who greeted people and who had to be kissed to enter. The conveyed meaning of the above would be giving respect to the place you are entering.
