The Milkmaid's Path

In the municipality of Čavle, from a small place Hrastenica, there is an old road that used to lead to Rijeka (now it is a bit shorter). Many people walked this way to Rijeka, mostly milkmaids, after whom it was named. They carried heavy loads to the city and returned home walking uphill. Now the road has been restored and represents a beautiful promenade in the middle of nature. Another name for this trip is Rebar.
