City of Gospić - The statue of Nikola Tesla
A new monument of Nikola Tesla has been erected in Gospić in April 2021, twenty-nine years after still unknown perpetrators destroyed his old monument with explosives during the Croatian War of Independence, together with the museum and the birth house. The new monument was not returned to the same place in the center of Gospić, but a little further, to the newly named Nikola Tesla Square.
