The Mistirs fair is a well-known event that takes place in Paularo every last weekend of August. It is s very significant event for the community both internally and externally, since many tourists visit during this period and thus it has become the main showcase of the attractions offered by the whole valley. During the fair visitors can taste typical products, buy local crafts and attend traditional works live demonstrations. Many villagers think that the fair should be further developed, in order to be even more attractive.

La manifestazione Mistirs è ormai un appuntamento annuale classico per la vallata di Paularo. Si tiene l’ultimo fine settimana di Agosto e rappresenta un momento molto significativo per la vita comunitaria del paese e per l’attrattività turistica della vallata. Nel contesto della festa, ci sono esibizioni, dimostrazioni, degustazioni eno-gastronomiche, mercatini di artigianato e di prodotti locali. Per il Comune è la principale vetrina verso l’esterno e merita di essere sviluppato e ampliato, a parere di molti paularini.

In the list of the castles of Manzano among the totally destroyed, there also that of Rodegliano which would have existed in the locality of the same name, now Rodeano (high and low), approximately seven kilometers west of Fagagna, six kilometers south of San Daniele and six kilometers east of Tagliamento river.
One of his lords would have been “D. Henricus de Rodeano” (1220), Enrico de Rodegliano, with Volvileo di Castelnuovo, Enrico di Flagogna, Corrado di Meduno, Volchero di Toppo e Ugerlo di Fanna, distinguish gentleman of that era, was a witness to the contract concluded in February 1220 for which Randolfo and Alberto, sons of Uramo di Toppo, ceded the castle and the jurisdiction of Toppo, Traneb and other places from which an income was obtained to the brothers Engelpretto, Brisa e Varnero (di Sifrido) di Ragogna. 
By decree of the Venetian Senate (2 June 1678) and with the ducal of Most Serene Prince Alvise Contarini (8 August), the noble Riccardo Elti was invested, also for his male descendants, with the jurisdiction of the Villas of Rodeano and Rive d’Arcano to which the count’s title was united.
If the Manzano list says is true… in the same place stands the fourth building, surrounded by a solid wall, flanked by two towers with a medieval look with is located in the square of High Rodeano and that it was already owned by Elti Counts ad now it belongs to the Minini family from the early 1900s. Villa Minini is on three floors which developed a total area of 960 square meters. Each floor is characterized by a very generously sized central body from which it is possible to access four rooms on either side of the same. The villa is immersed in the greenery being surrounded by a garden of 2500 square meters from which it is possible to access, through a suggestive tree-lined avenue of thirteen hectares of property grown organically. 
Also part of the complex are the appurtenances such as the former spinning mill, the tables and the turret, all in exposed stone.

In Italy, dialects have always played an important role. Since the Middle Ages, these languages, which were born from spoken Latin and then evolved during centuries, were used to communicate and they were part of daily life. At least until the unification of Italy, dialects were spoken by the majority of people, since Italian was used only in written forms and spoken by a limited group of rich and intellectual people. Hedda Forlivesi, an 81 years old brilliant woman, writes poems in Romagnolo dialect, which is difficult to understand and has distinctive and unique features because of the long political isolation of Romagna during the period of Esercato in Ravenna.

Celebrate the beginning of a new year with music and songs in dialect, better known by locals as "Maitunate", is a common habit in many villages in Molise and in Campobasso too. Groups of musicians meet in the streets of the old town to sing improvised and funny verses. They go on all night long and enter in the houses of the neighbors to bring joy just asking for a glass of wine.

Today the parade has almost the same characteristics of the ancient one that took place in 1700. In the morning of Corpus Christi, the actors, the carriers and the marching bands meet at the Museum, where the structures are kept. At 10 o'clock the carriers raise the Misteri and begin to march swaying to the rhythm of the musical motif. The thirteen Misteri cross the old town following a precise order, touching the balconies, stopping and continuing to parade among thousands of people. At Around 1 pm, in Piazza Municipio, the procession receives the solemn blessing of the Bishop and returns in the museum rooms where the structures are kept.
