Municipality of Lovinac - Cultural informative centre (KIC)

Cultural informative centre has an interesting history –there was once a community centre and a shoe factory, and the building was destroyed during the Croatian War of Independence and rebuilt in 2016. Now, it is a cultural informative centre, with 2 halls (big and small) used for different events – concerts, theatre shows, exhibitions, meetings, etc. There is a kindergarten and a gym, music school has lessons in the smaller hall, and there is also the office of Agrovelebit LLC (a local company selling potatoes). The plan for the future is to use the attic as a presentation room of Lovinac area by using new media (since there are not many remains of traditional crafts and tools left as the majority of the village was destroyed in the war). There is also a meeting point for children’s activities in robotics – ‘Robotići’ and the local folklore ensemble HKUD Vrilo.
